The Lab Assistant provides laboratory testing support to microbiologist/molecular scientists and managers. Element has an opportunity for qualified candidates to fulfill available positions in our Ultrasonic Inspectors department for Trainee, Level I and Level II Inspectors. Level I/Trainee candidates will be considered.  Completion of applicable classroom time, and practical hours (OJT) to achieve Level II certification within the first year of employment, is required.  Candidate must be available to attend evening classes as they are scheduled for the duration of training.  Training on first shift may be required 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and then will move to second 2 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. or third 10 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.

Its range of capabilities includes data collection and analysis, noise and vibration, custom transducers, strain gauging, impact/pendulum testing and route development/correlation.As a member of the operations team, the Principal Engineer position performs a variety of routine and non-routine testing assignments within the department assigned and insures timely and accurate test results under minimal direct supervision.
