Associate Technician, SAR

PCTEST Engineering Laboratory, now a part of the Element group, has an opportunity for a Associate Technician, SAR,  to join our rapidly expanding team.  You will have the opportunity to learn and apply standard testing techniques, procedures, and criteria to perform assigned tasks as part of a broader assignment.  Also, the position will be assuming additional departmental tasks and will collaboratively use judgment to determine adaptations in methods for routine aspects of assignments.



  • Performs basic testing and reporting
  • Compile test results using Word, Excel and Acrobat
  • Assists on other tasks such as System Verifications, Training, and Report Quality Review
  • Troubleshoots issues with connectivity and prototype devices
  • Collaborates daily with managers and test engineers
  • Interfaces and communicates with staff in a technical and professional manner

Skills / Qualifications

  • BA Degree in Engineering in process or obtained 
  • Organized, critical thinker, team player, detail oriented, comfortable with troubleshooting
  • Acquires complete knowledge and develops skills in a specific practice area with excellent performance
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk, hear, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
