Project Coordinator

Element has an opportunity for a Project Coordinator supporting medical device biological and mechanical testing. This is a great opportunity to work iwth one of the fastest growing companies in the global Testing, Inspection & Certification sector. The position will be based in our Cincinnati, OH lab and will oversee customer projects across several laboratories. 



  • Primary responsibility will be the main point of contact for one of our largest customers, developing the relationships and driving projects to completion
  • Management of customer projects ranging from microbiological testing to mechanical testing
  • Expected volume of tests is 4,000 annually. Average turn time of projects is 3 days
  • Coordinate responses with the technical team to provide additional insight
  • Handle changing priorities and resolve customer issues
    Work with multiple locations (60% Cincinnati, 40% other) to ensure subcontracting is handled appropriately
  • Communicate between all parties to drive project success
  • Ability to read/interpret testing specifications for new testing inquiries, partner with technical resources to evaluate feasibility
  • Management of certification and reporting
  • Support quality and administrative data input
  • Monitor and improve the submission/purchasing/reporting process
  • Travel may be necessary to customer locations (<20%)

Skills / Qualifications

  • Prior experience in project management (3+ years). Production or high volume experience preferred
  • Excellent communication skills required
  • Strong organizational skills required
  • Minimum 2 year degree
  • 4 year degree in microbiology or other technical discipline preferred
