Overview

Element has an opportunity for an IT Support Engineer Level 2 to become part of our growing IT support team. This role will primarily focus on providing 2nd line end-user computing support and serve as a regional IT support resource to our Americas colleagues and business.

 

Responsibilities

  • Second line IT support – Windows OS, Skype, Microsoft Office, DCRM
  • PC / Server administration and maintenance including fault diagnostics, system upgrades, and performance improvements
  • End-User management with Microsoft AD, Azure AD, O365, ADAXES, and other systesm as needed
  • Teamwork oriented, and ability to proactively coordinate and collaborate with other IT teams and business members
  • Mobile Phone MDM configuration and support using Microsoft Endpoint Manager and InTune, Apple, and Android
  • Participation in incident, problem, and change management requests adhering to ITIL best practices using ServiceNow request
  • Preparation of technical documentation and reports

Skills / Qualifications

  • Computer related degree, industry certification (Microsoft Certification, A+ or Network +, etc), or equivalent work experience
  • Knowledge and experience with IP network systems and theory
  • Significant Windows server/desktop support experience
  • Excellent customer skills and service orientation, combined with good communication, team skills, and social competence
  • Experience leading rollouts, migrations, and system upgrades
  • Experience within the following is required:

    • Windows Server 2008, 2012, and 2016, including DNS, DHCP & WINS

    • Microsoft Active Directory, Azure AD

    • Microsoft Windows 10, 7, and XP

    • Microsoft Office 365 Migrations and Administration (Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint)

    • Microsoft Productivity Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)

  • Ability to travel up to 15%
