Overview

Element has an opportunity for a Marketing Specialist that will lead the development of marketing and digital initiatives for the company, while leveraging best practices to increase overall awareness, lead acquisition and ultimately new business.Most importantly, the Marketing Specialist will provide monthly assessments and recommendations that will positively affect business unit results. 

Responsibilities

  • Relationships with the sales and business development organization, key technical experts and thought leaders to produce high-quality and engaging content and webinars
  • Business knowledge of Element’s service offerings and ensure that campaign strategies are focused and on-message for customers and target prospects of that business unit
  • Communication and planning forums, such as launch meetings with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment and readiness of marketing calendar initiatives
  • The marketing strategy and corresponding KPI metrics annually (with support from the Marketing and Sales Managers and Directors), ensuring they are comprehensive, well rounded and aligned with key sales objectives
  • The budget and key requirements to fulfill key marketing initiatives for the business unit, ensuring the budget is on target at the end of the year
  • Strategic content and event calendars to ensure timely execution and ensure lead generation and conversion goals across all stages of the funnel are achieved.
  • Virtual and live marketing events 
  • Plan and Create Marketing content, business collateral, and videos that are high quality, relevant, and engaging, are aligned to the strategic plans, and utilized efficiently across all appropriate media channels
  • Campaigns, messages, and tactics that are innovative and engaging (e.g., PPC, AdWords, email, LinkedIn, etc.) for the business unit to increase awareness and drive traffic
  • Leadership presentations as appropriate for reviews, marketing updates, media, and/or customers   
  • Industry directory entries as appropriate; creating, maintaining and/or monitoring the performance of all relevant industry directory listings for the business unit
  • Deliverables in accordance with brand style guidelines and appropriate editorial governance so content is consistent with our Element brand voice, style, and tone
  • Go-to-Market (G2M), Drive traffic to content assets by leveraging search, social media, business media/LinkedIn, publications, landing pages, advertising, events, etc
  • Leverage professional and media contacts to guarantee full exploitation of content with the aim to increase awareness and leads
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and business development colleagues to successfully launch digital programs and initiatives
  • Deliver a holistic approach across all media channels (including Element.com and business advertising mediums), following the Element brand guidelines, templates, and styles where appropriate
  • Follow-up with appropriate post event reports and/or metric updates to ensure learnings and successes are shared
  • Acts as a content developer and curator for the business unit across all marketing channels
  • Keep up with the latest marketing/industry tactics and techniques in both conventional and new media opportunities to ensure we harness the latest methods and technologies
  • Work in partnership with other marketing managers, specialists, and coordinators responsible for lead generation activities to ensure that key lessons learned are shared and capitalized across all business units
  • Provide event marketing support in the form of email invitations, website page creation, and specific campaign promotions targeted at increasing event registrations, along with post-show surveys, post event reports, and integration of leads into CRM system (DCRM)
  • Identify best performing content and channels for delivery to ensure focus and placement of content development and strategy initiatives are optimized in future months
  • Measure and report on the success of all marketing initiatives via digital dashboard
  • Market and competitive trends / methods and report on opportunities for consideration

Skills / Qualifications

  • Five years of marketing, inbound lead generation experience with demonstrated understanding of the digital disciplines (digital creative, platforms and operations, digital media, social media, and measurement)
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing and/or communications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong project management skills with ability to work with internal team members and outside agencies
  • A consumer-centric, results-driven mindset
  • Experience in B2B marketing in automotive or industrial sectors preferred
  • Fluent in English
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as technical papers, white papers, etc
