Overview

Element has an opportunity for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk. The primary function of the Clerk is to provide support to the Shipping and Receiving department.

Responsibilities

  • Package and coordinate outgoing shipments, including US Mail, UPS/ FedEx, courier services, and freight trucks
  • Efficiently and accurately process incoming shipments
  • Responsible for inspection and verification of all deliveries and logging orders into the computer system, as well as US Mail
  • Inter company delivery to appropriate parties
  • Postage meter and copier maintenance

Skills / Qualifications

  • 1-2 years related work experience
  • Ability for strong detail in following procedures and test protocols
  • Experience in interpreting testing procedures and requirements
  • Motivated, proactive individual with good interpersonal skills. Ability to work with individuals and customers at all levels in a variety of locations
  • Well-developed oral and written communication skills to meet a variety of communication needs within the department
  • Alpha-numeric data entry
  • Customer Service background a must
  • Must be proficient in standard Microsoft Office software and computer systems
  • Experience operating a forklift in small working area
