Senior Accountant

Element has an opportunity for a Senior Accountant to join our growing team.The PCTEST Senior Accountant will be responsible in the general accounting operations of PCTEST under the control and supervision of the Controller.  This includes but not limited to performing monthly accounting activities such as reconciliation of account balances and bank statements, maintaining general ledger, intercompany reconcilitations, expense reporting, preparing month-end closing procedures, and various reporting.



  • Review and reconcile accounts payable including processing of payments
  • Review invoices and follow up accounts receivable
  • Prepares Work-in-Process analysis
  • Capex reconciliation and tracking
  • Review of Bank reconciliations
  • Payroll reconciliation
  • Maintain Accruals and Prepaids schedules
  • Support in the month-end and year end close process including general journal entries
  • Assist with year end audits
  • Support Month end closing Inter Company Revenue, Cost reconciliation
  • Preparation of Monthly/Annual Sales & Use Tax Returns – CA and MD
  • Preparation of Annual Personal Property Tax Returns – CA and MD
  • Assist in the preparation of the annual US Census reports
  • Preparation of the annual Form 1099s
  • Participate in financial standards setting and in forecast process
  • Plan, assign and review staff’s work
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills / Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum 5 yearsof experience in multi site/location financial & accounting support
  • Self motivated and ability to process and effectively manage multiple tasks/priorities without direct supervision
  • Effective leadership, prioritization skills, and the ability to influence and direct operations
  • Excellent analytical skills and knowledge of accounting and financial principles
  • Possess solid P&L and general ledger account analysis skills
  • Demonstrated problem resolution skills
  • Ability to manage staff accountants on a daily basis
  • Collaborative and communicative leader
