Element has an opportunity for Level 3, MT & PT to join our growing team. 



  • Daily contract review
  • Training and administration of certification exams to the staff
  • Ensure equipment is properly calibrated and certified
  • Preparation, review and revision of testing procedures, and part specific testing techniques
  • Preparation and participation in quality audits
  • In this role the Level III Technician will be responsible for providing reliable results while paying close attention to safety and project timelines

Skills / Qualifications

  • Contract review: Ensure client requirements are met on each project involving
  • Review and approving work orders and making changes in Labman accordingly
  • Create profiles for new part numbers and update old profiles
  • Creating and approving all techniques, ensuring they meet client and project requirements
  • Department procedure creation, maintenance and review
  • Assist Quality Manager with client audits
  • Ensure equipment is calibrated/certified per required procedures and client requirements
  • Contact customers with technical questions regarding information missing on purchase orders
  • Conduct performance reviews for all certified technicians
  • Certify & re-certify inspectors
  • Review certifications for corrections and revisions
  • Provides excellent customer service
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Ability to calculate common NDT formulas will be required
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
  • Technician must successfully pass internal Level 3 testing requirements within the first (3) months in his/her position, as required by NADCAP checklist AC7114

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a certified Level 3 in the test method

  • Able to create techniques and manage the process for approving techniques with customer interaction and communication to achieving first article run

This position requires access to export-controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services. U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, protected person status under 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a)(3), or U.S. Government export authorization is required.
