  • Overview

    Element has an opportunity for a Sector Marketing Manager. This position will lead the Transportation & Industrial Sector’s marketing team to accelerate the revenue growth beyond 2019’s expectations.  This is a strategic role where direction and focus are key but with execution of strategy being a significant portion of the role as well.  The T&I sector is growing year over year, but with the addition of a Sector Marketing Manager, we expect that growth to accelerate over the prior years’ performance.


    • Responsible for developing new engagement and nurturing campaigns and build upon current strategies to drive traffic to Element.com and leads into the business
    • Collaborate with the Division Sales and Central Tactical Marketing teams to identify and execute new lead generation campaigns, including, but not limited to automated marketing, email marketing, event management and marketing, SEM, social Media
    • Ensure to work in partnership, with other marketing specialists responsible for lead generation activities
    • Fully comply with the overall marketing direction of Element as advised by the Central Strategic and Tactical Marketing teams
    • Fully comply with Element brand guidelines, using appropriate templates, styles, content and activities where they exist
    • Utilize marketing best practices and internal processes to execute tactical marketing plans for a specified Element business division
    • Collaborate with the Division’s technical community to create appropriate content that can be used both online and offline, as appropriate
    • Provide input to Element’s Central Tactical Marketing Team to implement campaigns (e.g. PPC, AdWords, email etc) for the specified Element business division
    • Support the Division’s Sales Director to drive the qualifying and response to incoming leads
    • Create entries for, maintain and monitor the performance of all relevant industry directory listings for laboratories within the specified business division
    • Gain a working business knowledge of Element’s service offering, ensuring that campaign material is focused and on-message for customers within the specified division
    • Ensure any changes to the division’s service offering is referred to the Central Tactical Marketing to update the global capability matrix and the lab finder part of element.com
    • Provide event marketing support in the form of an ongoing calendar of events Element will be attending on element.com, email invitations, website page creation, and specific campaigns targeted at increasing event registrations, and, post-show surveys, follow up and following up with generated leads in DCRM etc
    • Build and coordinate an editorial calendar for the division for email marketing and lead generation-focused automation campaigns relevant to the specified division in collaboration with Central Tactical Marketing

    • Analyse market trends and competitors’ methods and report to the Division’s sales director

    • Meet with the Central Tactical Marketing Manager regularly to communicate progress to goals and campaign results

    • Maintain and update records of marketing KPIs and results of past and current campaigns
    • Develop a productive relationship with the Division’s management through regular communications and monthly reviews against agreed KPIs

    Skills / Qualifications

    • Five years of sales, marketing, and inbound lead generation experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Fluent in English. Ability to read and interpret documents such as technical papers, white papers, etc 
    • Ability to write creative content for the marketing department  
    • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization
