  • Overview

    Element has an opportunity for an ETCH Department Manager to join our growing team. The manager will head up and manager the day to day of the Etch Department and their team.

    Responsibilities

    • Technical Experience in Etch/metal finishing process

    • Able to build a team environment in-order to achieve department and company goals

    • Meeting the financial targets for the department

    • Ensure high customer satisfaction from service provided

    • Manage the technical aspect of the department

    • Manage the quoting, pricing of the department

    • Ensure all safety procedures are followed in the department

    • Have final responsibility of all personnel assigned to the department

    • Ensure high On Time Delivery

    • Ensure low lead time

    • Ensure High First time right

    Skills / Qualifications

    • 5 years’ experience in Metal finishing, etching, with NDT knowledge a plus

    • Bachelors in Engineering a plus

    • Availability, flexibility, and maturity to represent the company at a broad range of events/projects in the community, with customers and within the company

    • Ability to remain calm when faced with mounting pressure related to deadlines and multiple priorities

    • Well-developed oral and written communication skills to meet a variety of communication needs, Good interpersonal skills that foster open upward and downward communication built on mutual respect

    • Ability to interface with clients, win new work and determine their requirements; helps develops proposals including cost estimates, work plan and terms and conditions

    • Quote projects

    • Build client relationships

    • Responsible for monthly/quarterly revenue forecasts for the departments

    • Contract reviews

    • Performing annual reviews and PDP’s on your direct reports

    • Dealing with all personnel issues in the department

    • Experience in interpreting testing procedures and requirements

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
