Overview

Element Charlotte has an opportunity for a Certification Supervisor. In this role, you will lead the certification team and uphold Element's exceptional First Time Right (FTR) requirements. You will be relied upon heavily by other colleagues such as Technicians, Supervisors, Department Managers, Operations Manager, and the General Manager.

 

Salary: $70,000 - $85,000/yr DOE 

 

Responsibilities

  • Under the direction of the Quality Manager and/or Operations Manager, assist in the efficient operation and growth of the assigned department

  • Provide professional and timely customer service to both internal and external customers

  • Understand the customer needs in order to translate and deliver desired customer results

  • Adhere to, support, and follow all Element safety guidelines

  • Set department schedules to ensure customer cert demands are met

Skills / Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of the laboratory

  • Ability to read drawings and interpret testing requirements

  • Strong computer skills and basic mathematical skills

  • Ability to work primarily alone and make independent decisions during the course of the workday

  • Ability to communicate and demonstrate the importance of meeting all applicable requirements of assigned department

  • Proven ability to read, understand and interpret program or test requirements and have the ability to analyze and translate into finished testing or report data

  • Excellent communication skills and telephone etiquette

  • Proficient skill in word processing and spreadsheet software

  • High impact of experience on the business at the local commercial, technical, and operational level
