Overview

The Account Specialist plays a key role in driving customer engagement and revenue growth by proactively managing and expanding client relationships. Typical objectives include:

  • Reactivating dormant or declining accounts through strategic outreach and personalized engagement.
  • Increasing wallet share by identifying opportunities with new and existing customers.
  • Gathering actionable feedback on marketing campaigns and sales materials to inform future initiatives.
  • Uncovering new RFQ (Request for Quotation) opportunities to support business development and pipeline growth.

This role requires a proactive mindset, strong communication skills, and a customer-centric approach to uncover needs, build trust, and deliver value.

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop expertise in Element’s global service offerings
  • Conduct outbound prospecting and cross-selling using targeted lists
  • Maintain accurate records and activity tracking in Dynamics CRM
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Sales teams for campaign execution
  • Route RFQs and feedback to appropriate stakeholders
  • Support pipeline management and quote follow-up
  • Generate performance reports and identify improvement opportunities

Skills / Qualifications

  • 1+ year of outbound sales or equivalent experience + education
  • Bachelor's Degree is a plus 
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Comfortable interpreting quotes, contracts, and marketing materials
  • Skilled in managing multiple priorities under pressure
  • Experience with CRM systems; Dynamics preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 20%
  • Strong interpersonal skills and client-facing experience
  • Must enjoy outbound prospecting
