Overview

Are you a numbers-savvy communicator who thrives on solving problems and building relationships? Element Materials Technology is looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our dynamic team!

 

In this role, you’ll be the go-to person for managing and resolving outstanding accounts. You’ll work closely with customers to clear up billing issues, reduce delinquency, and keep our accounts receivable in top shape — all without cold calls!

 

This is a hybrid position: 3 days in our Blue Ash office 

 

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing open accounts for collection efforts
  • Making collection calls/emails in a professional manner while improving customer relationships.
  • Email clients invoices when requested
  • Resolves client-billing problems and investigates all past due accounts
  • Identify issues attributing to account problems and discuss them with management
  • Work closely with the lab General Managers utilizing the customer aging reports to decrease collections

Skills / Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounts receivable or collections within a multi-site organization.
  • Strong ability to read, interpret, and apply accounting-related documents and financial data.
  • This is not a cold-calling role; candidates must demonstrate the ability to communicate professionally and effectively with external customers.
  • Proficient in calculating figures and amounts, including invoice totals, payment terms, and Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), with a solid grasp of basic math concepts.
  • Excellent analytical skills and a strong understanding of accounting and financial principles.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities and a high level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to remain composed and focused when managing deadlines and multiple priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset; able to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Must be available to work onsite at our Blue Ash office at least 3 days per week.
