Element is seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Certification Typist to support the preparation, review, and delivery of customer test certifications and reports. The Certification Typist plays a vital role in ensuring that customer documentation is accurate, timely, and meets both Element and client-specific requirements. This position involves working closely with internal teams and clients, entering and processing test requests, and navigating both internal systems and external customer portals.
Compensation: $22.00 - $25.00/hour
Perform data entry for incoming test requests according to detailed procedures and direction from the Office Manager.
Compose, format, and review technical test reports and certifications based on complex test results and customer specifications.
Conduct technical reviews of customer purchase orders (POs) to ensure requirements are accurately captured and fulfilled.
Identify unique customer certification requirements and ensure compliance within the framework of a test certificate.
Prioritize workload to ensure certificates are completed and delivered to clients within required turnaround times.
Organize and maintain accurate filing systems for active and completed work orders, both physical and digital.
Batch scan completed work orders into Labman and verify successful digital capture and storage.
Access, navigate, and operate within a variety of external customer portals to submit or retrieve documentation as required.
Work collaboratively with technical and administrative staff to resolve inconsistencies or respond to customer documentation inquiries.
Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience in a technical or administrative field.
Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply complex technical instructions.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
Ability to multitask and maintain composure in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Professional demeanor with flexibility to represent the company effectively across various contexts including customer interactions.
Office-based environment with occasional interaction in lab or testing areas.
Extended periods of sitting, typing, and computer use.
Occasional lifting of files or office materials (up to 15 lbs).
May require occasional early or extended hours based on workload and project timelines.
