Overview

Element has an opportunity for a motivated, highly organized, and energetic Intern, who will manage and oversee calibration activities. In this role you will ensure equipment is properly calibrated, maintain compliance with
quality system requirements, and facilitate efficient communication with vendors and internal teams.

Responsibilities

Set up and conduct a variety of tests, including vibration, temperature extremes, hurricane winds, and rain
simulations.
• Collect test data both manually and using data acquisition systems.
• Report findings using Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of test standards, product procedures, and related instrumentation.
• Monitor and document test progress and results accurately.
• Organize and maintain data for each assigned project, ensuring clear and precise documentation.

• Associate’s Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; military experience is a
plus.
• Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience with accelerometers, data acquisition, and VR software is advantageous.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Proven experience in interpreting testing procedures and customer requirements.
• Familiarity with vibration testing and test software is preferred
