Overview

We are currently seeking a Full-Time, Long-Term 1st Shift Prototype Build Technician for a facility located in Carmel, Indiana.

 

There has never been a more exciting time to be part of an automotive electronics technology company. Better automotive sensors and imaging radars make for a safer and more robust driving experience. You will be responsible for building Automotive prototype builds for various customers.

 

Responsibilities

Prototype Build Technician Responsibilities:

  • Must be able to maintain system programming bench for ECU reflashing.

  • Maintain system process and checkout procedures for programming automotive imaging radars/sensors for Advanced Driver Assistance Programs.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve automotive radar/sensors issues at bench level.

  • Support troubleshooting automotive radars/sensors issues at vehicle level as needed.

  • Work with other engineering competencies to ensure proper development, execution and verification of automotive sensor ECU’s and radar.

 

Skills / Qualifications

Prototype Build Technician Required Qualifications/Skills:

 

  • Must have basic computer skills using Microsoft Excel and Outlook/Email.
  • Must have an Electrical/Mechanical aptitude.
  • Must be able to work 1st shift 8am-4pm-Monday-Friday.
  • Able to follow test procedures.
  • Experience with CAN, Flexray, Ethernet, or any Communication Protocol is preferred but not required.
  • Experience with CANalyzer/CANape or CANoe is preferred but not required

Education and Experience Requirements:

 

  • High School Diploma or associate degree in Electronics or Computer Science.
  • Must have 1-3+ years of Electronics/Electrical or Computer experience.
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License and be able to complete a background check and drug test.
