Overview

Element has an opportunity for a Certification Coordinator to join our team based in Gary, IN. This is a great 
opportunity to work in the Testing, Inspection & Certification sector.


Salary: $24- $26/hr DOE 

 

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that client files and records are maintained in an accurate and complete manner
  • Ensure that the correct information is entered for the job including details like PO number, part number, test type, test requirements, material grades, etc
  • Reading and understanding technical documents such as ASTM or ISO procedures and specifications
  • Manually enter test results as needed into LIMS system
  • Review test data for accuracy and completeness
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any discrepancies between PO requirements, test data, certificate
  • Issue finalized certificate to client
  • Ensure that certificate reviews are processed in a timely manner in accordance with KPIs
  • Revise or correct test certificates as needed
  • Maintain log of revised and corrected certificates
  • Provide support for Order Entry as needed

Skills / Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience working with Microsoft suite of office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, etc)
  • Experience working in a fast-paced office environment
  • Experience of working within a customer service environment
  • Experience of the Materials Testing Industry would be desirable, however not essential
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Strong team player
  • Self-starter with good organisation skills
  • Proactive, logical and methodical
  • Confident, punctual and well organized
