Element has an opportunity for an Order Entry/Project Coordinator at our Fairfield, OH site. The primary function of
the role is to route machining orders and manage projects from start to finish. This role will be responsible for
communicating project status both internally and externally.
Salary: $20- $25/hr DOE
• Receiving and logging material
• Create machine shop routers following internal quality procedures
• Track projects and communicate status updates both internally and externally
• Schedule incoming orders using Element scheduling tools and/or guidance from management.
• Communicate scheduling delays and quality concerns to location management.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives including 5S and Operational Excellence
• Participate in monthly safety training and other safety initiatives as required
• Other duties as assigned by location leadership
• 1 - 3 years of customer service experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as customer quotes/contracts, drawings, and machining requirements
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
• Ability to solve practical customer problems and interpret a variety of instructions, data and details furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
• Must have valid Driver’s License, with an acceptable driving record under Element’s policy
• Experience in interpreting testing procedures and requirements
• Proficiency in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel)
