Overview

Element has an opportunity for a Facility/Office Coordinator to join our growing team at Rockford, IL testing laboratory.
This is a Front Desk position which would require a friendly, energetic person with a positive attitude that is detailed orientated and able to work in a fast paced environment.

 

Salary: $19.50/hr - $24/hr DOE 

 

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Receptionist and handle associated tasks, such as greeting customers, including answering incoming calls, creating visitor badges, etc.
• Greet customers and service professionals as they enter the building. Assist with checking them in and out.
• Ability to effectively manage your calendar (MS Outlook) and others when scheduling onsite vendors.
• Proactively engage with customers by using phone, email, and web conferencing such as TEAMs.
• Order and retrieve materials, including food for guests.
• Receive and distribute mail.
• Fast-paced data entry required, including Order Entry and Test Certification submittals.
• Generate Work Orders and match paperwork to customer test specimens. Create Purchase Orders and maintain associated receipts/documents.
• Book Travel and file associated expense reports.
• Ensure compliance with all Element policies including but not limited to Terms and Conditions, trade compliance, ITAR, treatment of others, moral code of conduct, and employee handbook requirements.

Skills / Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required. Associate’s Degree preferred.
• Well-developed oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, & PowerPoint).
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as customer quotes, contracts, marketing materials, drawings, and customer testing specifications.
• Ability to solve practical problems and positively working with others.
• A valid driver’s license, with an acceptable driving record under Element’s policy.
• Purchasing experience
• Great Organizational skills
• Detailed orientated
