Overview

Element has an opportunity for a motivated, highly organized, and energetic Calibration Administrator, who will manage 
and oversee calibration activities. In this role you will ensure equipment is properly calibrated, maintain compliance with
quality system requirements, and facilitate efficient communication with vendors and internal teams.

Salary: $25-$30/hr

 

Responsibilities

  • Review calibration certifications for accuracy and identify out-of-tolerance conditions
  • Initiate and assist with out-of-tolerance investigations
  • Coordinate the ordering of replacement parts for faulty equipment when necessary
  • Distribute a monthly list of equipment due for calibration
  • Ensure compliance with calibration quality system requirements
  • Request quotes from calibration vendors and coordinate the process from start to finish
  • Create purchase orders for equipment calibration services
  • Perform other related duties as required

Skills / Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Highly motivated with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong mathematical reasoning skills; ability to perform basic functions accurately and efficiently
  • Ability to lift equipment up to 45 pounds unassisted
  • An associate’s degree in a technical field is plus but is not required
