Overview

Element Materials Technology is looking for a detailed-orientated Senior Credit Specialist with experience in commercial credit underwriting and onboarding new customers to join our accounting team in Blue Ash, Ohio.

 

In addition to commercial credit underwriting and customer onboarding, we are looking for someone with knowledge of corporate bankruptcy filings and proof of claims filings. This role requires strong computer skills and the ability to function in several different ERP systems. 

 

This is a hybrid role; 3 days in the office and 2 days remote! 

 

Responsibilities

  • Commercial credit underwriting, evaluating and assessing creditworthiness
  • New customer account creation and onboarding
  • Updating all customer changes
  • Research bankruptcy and proof of claims filings
  • Review and analyze credit reports from major credit bureaus
  • Build strong working relationships with internal and external team members

Skills / Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent professional experience
  • Minimum of 3 year's experience in a commercial credit environment
  • Experience creating new accounts and customer onboarding
  • Experience with credit bureau analysis
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong computer skills; Microsoft Dynamics and Excel
  • Experience working with ERP systems
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
