Overview

Element is seeking a highly motivated D365 Training Leader to join our team. In this role, you will be pivotal in ensuring a seamless transition to D365 F&O by providing comprehensive training and support to the project team and end users. You will work closely with various stakeholders, including Global Process Owners (GPOs), Business Unit Finance teams, and Operational teams, to deliver effective training materials and facilitate knowledge transfer.

 

Element is currently undertaking a multi-year project to replace our legacy finance systems and ERPs with Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations (D365 F&O) across all reporting and legal entities. This project aims to introduce standard global processes and a robust controls framework for finance and related functions through a unified ERP solution.

Responsibilities

Training Development & Delivery:  

  • Create, manage, and deliver training materials in multiple formats (quick reference guides, user guides, videos, etc.) based on training needs analysis for each rollout wave.
  • Conduct training sessions alongside Global Process Leads (GPLs), ensuring coverage of both business and system processes.

Project Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with the project team to align training efforts with the overall project timeline and deliverables.
  • Support the project team with testing activities, including user acceptance and regression testing.

Change Management:

  • Build long-term relationships with users across the organization to support change management efforts and ensure user adoption.
  • Assist in developing standard operating procedures for the Finance and Accounting teams. Ongoing Support:
  • Provide hypercare support during Go-Live phases, troubleshooting issues and resolving user queries.
  • Act as a go-to resource for first-line support and training for new hires.

Data Management:

  • Support data validation processes to ensure high-quality data migration into D365 F&O, including trial balance and financial dimension mapping.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Gather feedback post-rollout to adapt training materials and methods based on lessons learned.
  • Work with stakeholders to ensure knowledge transfer and optimal management of the transition to support.

Skills / Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in finance transformation training, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics D365 F&O is highly preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines. Proficient in Excel, with advanced skills preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with attention to detail.
  • Proven leadership abilities and experience in cross-functional collaboration.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally.
