Overview

 

Element is looking to hire a Senior Finance Manager.  In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the business through maximizing asset value, managing forecasting/planning and reporting, and integrating performance management whilst maintaining a strong control environment, partnering with relevant stakeholder groups to manage a range of financial activities and implementing a financial strategy to drive outstanding business results.

 

The Finance Manager is a true business partner, you will be the direct connection between finance and our Connected Technology and Mobility business unit 

Responsibilities

  • Development of financial plans including budgeting and forecasting 
  • Analyze the overall business performance and present to leadership team 
  • Manage budgets, expenses and pricing and commercial arrangements
  • Drive efficiencies to ensure contracts remain financially viable and delivered on budget
  • Partner with business managers and leadership to drive financial performance
  • Support the Sales and Marketing department by conducting analysis of commercial opportunities
  • Prepare models to assess future profitability of identified opportunities

Skills / Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.  CPA or MBA a plus
  • 5+ years experience in financial analysis supporting a business unit 
  • Ability to identify issues and areas for improvement through analysis
  • Exposure and conceptual understanding of contract law and pricing
  • Strong commercial acumen and business understanding
  • Ability to manage both internal and customer relationships
  • Excellent leadership and presentation skills 
  • Team orientated, with strong relationship and interpersonal skills
  • Advanced negotiation, influencing and stakeholder management abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced computer software skills, including Excel, PowerPoint and other accounting/finance systems
