Salary: $20-22/hr

• Use of mechanical testing equipment such as room temperature tensile frames, stress rupture frames and charpy impact hammers
• Interpretation of internal and client requirements
• Maintaining accurate and systematic records
• Performing other duties to fulfil the demands of the laboratory
• Performing general duties in accordance with Element's internal procedures, quality as well as Health and Safety system
• Data interpretation and reporting

• Positive and "hands on" attitude
• Sound mechanical capabilities
• Experience of working within a Mechanical testing environment is advantageous
• An understanding of a recognized Quality Management Systems such as ISO 17025 is beneficial
• Self-motivated Technician with the ability to multi-task, organize and work under the pressure of a busy commercial mechanical test laboratory
• A team player attitude with good interpersonal skills
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
