Overview

Element has an opportunity for a Lab Project Scheduler at their laboratory in Minneapolis. The main objective of the Project Scheduler's role is to ensure our technical staff and equipment are scheduled in alignment to meet our customer expectations.

Salary: $60K-$90K/year

 

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily production planning and scheduling of technicians and test equipment
  • Work closely with department managers regarding capacity constraints and managing customer expectations
  • Prioritize schedules based on input from department managers and customers
  • Using visual planning software, keep revenue projections up to date
  • Compile month-end WIP and assist with invoicing throughout the month
  • Work closely with project managers and issue timely change order requests to customers based on feedback from technicians

Skills / Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two year college plus two (2) to four (4) years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) as well as scheduling software
  • Well-developed verbal and written communication skills to meet a variety of communication needs
  • Ability to interface with customers to determine their needs and provide a satisfactory outcome

NOTE:  This position requires access to export-controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services.  U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, protected person status under 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a)(3), or U.S. Government export authorization is required.
