Overview

Element has an opportunity for an UT Technical Coordinator. The primary function of the Customer Support Coordinator is to maximize sales opportunities by creating a world-class first impression for customers who contact Element through the sales inquiry website forms and telephone numbers.

 

Responsibilities

  • Performs duties comparable to that of a Senior Technician
  • Ability to mentor and train NDT Trainees and technicians who have less experience through effective communication of technical data
  • Possesses the ability to perform complex testing. Ability to work alone the majority of the work day; only requesting assistance for clarification or confirmation of NDT Techniques, DataCards, Scan Plans or procedures
  • Responsibility for a significant range of resources. Demonstrated leadership of initiatives making an recognizable contribution to change and capability development

Skills / Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Engineer's Degree or similar position in NDT-related field
  • 6-10 years of significant experience in NDT field through which an equivalent level of knowledge has been attained
  •  Speaks fluent English
  • Must have Level 2 or Level 3 Certification on the applicable method (s) and complete level 2 training program on at least 1 additional NDT method
