Materials Testing Technician

Job Locations US-IN-Indianapolis


Element has an opportunity for a Materials Testing Technician whose primary responsibility is to perform routine, metallurgical, corrosion testing facilitating metallurgy operations at site or at a laboratory.


Salary: Min Starting $23/hr



  • Perform routine metallurgical testing, including micro / macro examinations
  • Prepare samples using various cut off saws and metallurgical mounting and polishing equipment
    Ensure work compliance to ISO 17025 requirements, Nadcap requirements, and customer requirements
  • Coordinating with the technicians in the team to carry out work per the planning schedule

Skills / Qualifications

  • Entry level encouraged to apply (No degree required)
  • Associate degree or 1-3 year experience in testing, quality inspection, manufacturing, or related field.
  • Ideal candidate exhibits a willingness and ability to absorb a lot of information in a short amount of time.
